Item description from seller

pp: 206. Blue pictorial dust jacket over red cloth boards. The author was a noted Canadian historian and genealogist, whose work features the history and genealogy of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This book, at least partly autobiographical, offers a history of the people and land in and around Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She describes the area during her time there as a student. For those who are curious, Blomidon refers to a red-sandstone cape and its surrounding rural community in Kings County, Nova Scotia. This is a near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. The jacket has moderate edge wear, and a two-inch closed tear at the top of the front panel. It is now protected from further damage by a Brodart cover.
