tall 8vo. cloth-backed decorated boards, paper spine label, top edge gilt, dust jacket. xvi, 410 pages with 135 illustrations, some in color. First edition, second impression. Tears and chipping along the spine ends / corners of the dust jacket. Very minor rubbing to spine ends of the binding, else a near fine copy. Identical to first impression with following exceptions: a line has been added to the copyright page stating that this is the second impression; the error on page 49 has been corrected and now reads "Boyhood." Published in October 1928, the same month as the first impression and sold for $5.00.
