Hardcover. Condition: Poor. The The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments and Other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church according to the use of the Anglican Church of Canada, published in 1959, was a revision of the 1918 edition ordered by the General Synod of the Anglican Church in 1943. The revisions did nothing to alter the fundamental meaning or intention of the text, but rather were intended to better communicate the faith. This volume is in poor condition. There is a previous owner's name written on the flyleaf, as well as an address sticker. The Primate's Prayer for Anglican Mission is stuck to the front pastedown. The front hinge is slightly cracked, and the covering of the spine has separated at the front edge and along the top. There is also slight paint staining to the front edge of the cover. Internally the book is in excellent condition with no damage to the text itself. Seller Inventory # 167
