The book contains the "Official Programme" for the 1901 season of "Buffalo Bill's" Wild West Show which entailed amazingly, twenty-one separate acts or events! The majority of the book is devoted to "Historical Sketches." These start with an essay titled Hon. W. F. Cody - ("Buffalo Bill"); additional sketches include: Johnnie Baker - The Young Marksman, Annie Oakley, The Rifle as an Aid to Civilization, Origin of the Name "Rough Riders," etc.; advertisements include those for: Pure Quaker Oats, Pond's Extract, H. & R. Firearms, Winchester Rifles and Ammunition, etc.; illustrated throughout with black and white drawings and photographs. The condition of the book is FINE.
