Navy Blue cloth boards with gilt titles to spine, 195 x 130 mm approx. 352 pp, Frontis + 8 other plates as called for + Fold out Family tree. First Printing 1936. Biography of the Industrial Chemist D R Steuart - Broxburn Oil Co. including exploits of earlier relatives eg (Captain Robert Steuart - Waterloo, Basil Steuart - Publisher, WWI letters from his son James William Harvie Steuart etc. ) compiled from letters written by him and other family recollections. A scarce book written for private circulation but of immense interest to descendants. The only copies found at time of listing are in national / university libraries - per Copac. Near Fine/ VG (Book- negligible shelf wear, a few foxing spots to edges of book block, no previous owner name or insc. Dust Jacket - a little rubbed and shelf soiled with 1.5 cm tear to top front panel, spine a little tanned, now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve.
