Reprint edition measuring about 8X11 inches. Reduced format and priced from $3.00 to $1.00. A very nice copy, but the jacket is soiled on the front panel. There is even a smaller reprint issue, the original and true first however, measures about 14X11. Furthermore, these reprints were also issued for later printings of all the early Babar books, the original issue being the large format ( folio 11X14) in each case. Nonetheless, uncommon with its original jacket.
