An attractive facsimile of the first edition, issued in a facsimile dust jacket and an attractive matching slipcase. An "As New" copy in an "As New" dust jacket with an "As New" slipcase. This entire series --I think that it was about 60-70 books--is now out of print. This is a facsimile edition of the 1922 Harcourt, Brace and Company first edition. Book is 7-5/8" tall; 401 numbered pages followed by 5 unnumbered pages of ads for other Harcourt titles; original unclipped dust jacket. As with all books in this First Edition Library, this is an exact replica of the first print edition; the only new additions are on the copyright page and an "F-E-L" at the bottom of the rear flap of the jacket. All else--cloth pattern, size, font, ads, price, etc--is an exact replica. This book is a tight fit into its slipcase.
