This offering is an older copy of Babe Ruth, Baseball Boy written by Guernsey Van Riper, Jr. and illustrated by Seymour Fleishman. The book was published by The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc. in 1959 and appears to be, perhaps, a Second Edition but is not specifically stated as such but IS a book in their "Childhood of Famous Americans" series. It also IS a rebound ex-library copy and it DOES have a dust jacket. Both the book and the dust jacket are in good condition with library wear and library markings. The book is 5 3/4" by 7 5/8" and has 200 pages with a Table of Contents, three-color illustrations, an Interesting Words in This Book section, a When Mary Todd Lincoln Lived section, an Other Books You May Enjoy Reading section, an Interesting Things to Do section, an Its Fun to Look Up These Things section and a Do You Remember section.
