Dust Jacket: matt paper with photo of horse racing scene to front and spine and black lettering to all faces; some fading and rubbing and chipping to edges, but otherwise clean. Cover: blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine, slightly darkened to all edges but in very good condition for its age. Internally: very clean and tightly bound, no inscriptions. Illustrated with black and white line drawings. 146 pp. Also includes delivery slip to Sporting Chronicle for review.
