The Ballet-Student's Primer- A Concentrated Guide for Beginners of All Ages.

I have a lot of books about the performing arts, music and dance but must candidly admit that my listings here in New York State have not done justice to this genre (although in Florida, I have managed to list many of these books). Time to change the pattern. Please find a book about ballet, something very practical and basic. If you have a young person interested in ballet, this book would be quite an asset for you and them in thinking about what they might be getting themselves into. Please find: "The Ballet-Student's Primer- A Concentrated Guide for Beginners of All Ages" by Kay Ambrose in collaboration with Celia Franca. I think you will enjoy the very well presented drawings and diagrams about the art of the ballet. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some edge wear and scuffing of the finish, has a two inch tear down the spine but is largely whole and doing its job. It has been price-clipped. The hard covers are clean and bright with some very minor bumping to the corners and spine tips. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and illustrations are bright and clean throughout, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound.
