In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Slight cracking to front joint at tail of spine. Slight cracking and closed tearing to joint at rear to center of spine, with spine cloth slightly lifting. Rear hinge cracked, slightly loosened but holding. Slight discolouration to extremities. Slight rubbing to boards. Previous owner's contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd spot, heavier to first and last few leaves and fore edge. One or two handling marks to fore edge. Very Good.
