Baseball History Volume 2 Number 1 Spring 1987

During the 1980s, Meckler was publishing a number of baseball books. This series, like most others, only lasted for a few years. Articles included The Case Against Boggs (hitting .400) by John Holway; Baseball in the Berkshires: The "Flops" Phillips Story by Merritt Clifton; Moe Berg's Japanese Reflections; and Baseball Literature 1986: A Survey by Joseph Lawler. This was 17 pages and lists most of the baseball titles written during 1986 including Fathers Playing Catch With Sons by Donald Hall; Good Enough To Dream by Roger Kahn; Beyond the Sixth Game by Peter Gammons; The History of the Piedmont League by Chrisman and many more. In very good condition. I have more than 275 books on the history of baseball, around 240 items on Minor League Baseball and 115 publications on International Baseball in stock. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.
