Baseball Stars of Yesterday

The Fort Pitt Brewing Company would published one of these booklets each year from long time Pirates' broadcaster Rosey Rowswell. Stories of all-time diamond heroes with records for present and future comparisons. A brief look at Honus Wagner, Fred Clarke, The Waners, (Paul and Llyod), Cy Young, John McGraw, Lou Gehrig, Rube Waddell, Dizzy Dean, Christy Mathewson and many others. At the rear of the book, has aerial black and white photographs of the Ebbets Field, Polo Grounds, Forbes Field, Shibe Park, Crosley Field, Sportsman's Park, Braves Field and Wrigley Field. Brown cover in good condition. The rear cover has an ad for Fort Pitt Speical Beer. These booklets have become very difficult to find. I have hundreds of books on the Best of Baseball in stock.
