Follows and Bates was a Manchester-based light engineering company founded in the 1870s. They specialised in horticultural equipment, such as lawnmowers, but by the 1880s had branched out into grinding and painting equipment. They founded this magazine in January 1893 and not sure how long it lasted as seems it was mainly for the trade & shops and priced at 6d (6 pence) so may not have lasted very long as could not find another copy and hardly any mention of it. So even not in very good condition, a very rare reference copy. Please see all scans. Size: 22 x 28.5cm Approx. Seller Inventory # 003196
