First Methuen edition, [September 5] 1918, preceeded two years earlier (September 1916) by the Cazenove/McClurg edition. Yellow-brown decorative cloth binding with black stampings on front board and spine panel. Very Good book with toned text block edges, bumped and lightly worn spine ends and tips, small light red stain to front board, dusty text block top edge in Very Good, possibly 1920, 6/-, dust jacket with a small amount of internal tape repairs, light chipping (the largest is 3/4") and closed edge tears (3" long one across top of front cover) and a small portion of the front flap edge has been trimmed off (does not affect any text). The dust jacket lists Princess, Gods and Warlord on the back cover and Apes, Return, Beasts, Son, Jewels and Jungle Tales on the front flap. Warlord of Mars, the most recent title, was published May 20, 1920. All our books are bubble wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box with Delivery Confirmation.
