First Edition (first printing), this seemingly a later state binding with no top edge stain and with 'Catholic Book of the Month Club' discreetly blind-stamp to the base of the lower board. 8vo. 253pp. Black cloth lettered in silver at the spine. With a title page decoration and six Gill line drawings in the text. A tiny nick to the head of the backstrip and a little occasional fox spotting.
