This book is in Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The trade sized paperback book has self covers and yapping to the bottom edges. The spine of the book has cracking and tearing to the spine end, and the top three inches had been torn off and repaired. The text pages are clean and bright. The book discusses the California State Library, written by the person who was in on the project from the beginning. "Starting with a traveling library, the system gradually expanded from its base in Sacramento; for a number of years, Laura Steffens headed a section known as the Extension Department.
