Newsweek , New York. 1972. Hardcover. First Edition. Books are tight, square, and unmarked. Book Conditions: Near Fine; scant shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. DJ: scant edgewear, small closed tears. Blue cloth boards and spines with bright silver lettering on the spine. Franklin handwriting as endpapers. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 416 pp in total 4to. Benjamin Franklin never finished writing his famous Autobiography, but Yale University Press did finish the job in their multivolume series of The paper of BF. This set of books is from that series. These volumes contains woodcuts, contemporary cartoons, portraits, sketches, and drawings that complement the text. A clean very presentable set of books.
