Bound in publisher's light brown cloth with spine lettered in gilt, front inner hinge split, cloth mildly rubbed and corners lightly bumped; text block square and tight, "Property of the Historical Committee" ink stamp to front free endpaper; pages clean tight and unmarked with one very light small stain to outer edge of first few pages, never touching the text. Pencil inscription at top of front free endpaper appears to read: "Complete. Bought at the sale, Mrs. Flora Hickey, March, 1920. Probably the property originally, her [?] father Timothy Jenkins" Jenkins was a member of Congress from New York and district attorney for Oneida County. Seller Inventory # 022767
