I acquired this book in a Heritage Auctions sale. It came with its "Doubleday & Company, Inc. Book for Review" slip which notes "Edward L. Ferman, Editor" . AND, on its front endpaper, ini blue ink, is the signature of Doubleday editor Edward Ferman. "Copyright (c) . 1966" on its copyright page, and publisher's original "$4.50" price on its jacket's front flap. On the bottom of page 248 is "H9" so this is a February 1966 1st printing. This book is in near fine condition, marred only by bumps on its spine ends. Its binding is sound and square with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in near fine condition: bright, whole, and unmarked, with some light wear on its spine ends but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.…

Terms of sale
Terms of Sale are per ABE Books standards and your national consumer laws.
Shipping terms
- Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
- All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
- My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
- There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
- Please contact me via ABE if you have any questions or special requests about packing and shipment, such as insurance or shipment by carriers other than US Postal Service. I will be happy to work with you if my standard policies need adjustment or exceptions.
