Riveting, horrifying, absolutely chilling account of the Moors Murders of random children & teenagers in England, 1963-1965, & the two lovers--Ian Brady & Myra Hindley--who perpetrated them. Best account of these crimes ever published, IMHO. The FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, first printing, from 1968, this 8vo has matte black cloth-covered boards & multicolored lettering stamped to spine. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white, light blue top stain. Mild sunning to top edge of front cover & slight rubbing to lower extremities, with cloth loss at lower corners & spine. The unclipped DJ is VG+, missing a tiny chip at heel of spine, but otherwise near perfect! We are also selling a cheaper book club edition of this title; please see our listing # 020683.
