First Printing. Direct From The Publisher's Library, The Publisher's Personal Copy, Never Sold Or Circulated . Wayne D. Overholser (1906-1996) Was An American Western Writer. Overholser Won The 1953 First Spur Award For Best Novel For" Law Man" Using The Pseudonym Lee Leighton. In 1955 He Won The 1954 (Second) Spur Award For "The Violent Land". Book Has Single Point Of Fraying At Bottom Front Spine Edge, A Little Foxing To Endpapers, Pages Browned, Otherwise No Wear Or Damage Or Marks. Dj Lightly Worn, Blue Background To Spine Has Faded To Almost White, 1/4" X 1/8" Chip At Top Rear Spine Fold, 1/8" Closed Tear At Top Of Front Panel, Tiny Losses At Tips, Foxing To Flap Edges And A Little Foxing To Endpapers. Scarce; Ballantine Reports That Less Than 2000 Hard Copies Were Usually Done For Their Westerns, And Other Reports Indicate That Most Went To Libraries.

Items are returnable for any reason within 30 days of receipt, or later by mutual agreement; for returned items, prior telephone or e-mail notice is required, as well as proper packing and, if appropriate, insurance. Shipping terms
Postage, handling and insurance are extra, at estimated cost and processing fee. Shipment at standard rates is for small to standard sized books via media mail within U.S., or via Priority Mail envelope overseas, with tracking. Standard shipping costs are based on books of standard size with shipping weight of 4 pounds or less; if a book order is heavier or oversized, extra shipping costs may be charged. Non-standard and higher-valued international shipments are charged estimated postage and shipping costs, including full insurance for all shipments valued over $200. The full purchase price is always indicated on the Customs statement.
