Very good plus book, no dust jacket. Dark purple textured cloth covered boards with blue and gilt-stamped pictorials on front panel and spine, gilt-stamped lettering on both. Spine is faintly sunned. Tiny chips along lower edge at tail of spine. Lower front fore-edge corner is rubbed through. External page edges are age-toned and with some foxing. Inside gutter is cracked at Books listing page and verso to frontispiece. Upper 1 1/2" of frontispiece is separated from gutter. Internal foxing mostly on pages with photographs.
