Blake a practicing architect who is (or was) based in San Francisco. Conveniently, the city boasts a full-on Asian Art Museum, and consultation was provided by assistant curator Jeff Durham.

Laura Blake earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Brown University and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles. A practicing architect with a specialty in buildings for public use, Laura has a keen interest in cultures and their architectural traditions.
