Yang Yang has been a language teacher since 1999. Her students have won numerous awards in national English competitions in China. In 2006, she received her MA degree in Applied Linguistics from Ohio University with an Outstanding Language Teaching Award and an Outstanding Research Award in Second Language Acquisition. Then she did two years' PhD study in Chinese Linguistics at University of Arizona. She has been teaching Chinese at different universities and local Chinese schools in the US since then and loved by her students. Currently she is an invited writer and editor for Little Pipa, an Educational Magazine for young Chinese learners in the US.
