Flexible gilt-stamped green pebbled cloth; 12mo; 161+ 2pp ads; illustrated with b/w photos and drawings; two-tone pictorial dust jacket; ad page date: August, 1936. With chapters on brush & timber rifles; long range stalking rifles; double barreled rifles; iron hunting sights; scopes, mounts & sights. This copy in VG condition with former owner's name neatly penciled to front free endpaper. The jacket, also VG, shows minor wear at edges with small chip at crown of spine. A very nice example of the 1st impression which is quite hard-to-find.
