Color Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; Oversize HC in original glossy laminate covered, color pictorial boards. 1st "A" printing of the "Big Golden" format edition with publisher's A100100 code on the lower corner of the front pastedown. Snugly bound and clean; no marks. The laminate over the boards is intact over all surfaces but has a patterned frosting where the darker tones of the color illustrations appear to have resisted contact with the laminate. There is no feel of bubbling to the laminate but instead a striking cream color pattern. See photographs. Trace shelf rub to boards at corners. Laminate does have superficial puncture in the lower couple of inces over the recessed rear joint. Much nicer than ususally seen example of the 1st printing in this format. VG+ thus. .
