The Big Red Train Ride, Eric Newby, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1978, First Edition, First Impression In 1977, Eric Newby, his wife, an official guide and a photographer set off to travel the length of the Trans-Siberian railway. This book recounts their journey. There are sixteen pages of black and white illustrations within the book. In fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The unclipped dust jacket is in near fine condition with a slightly toned back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
