True first British printing. No jacket. Pictures by Stead. Red boards with black lettering to spine and front are very good with a few small marks (paper residue?), little creasing to spine (book has been read), a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing/bumping to head/tail of spine. Some (quite) major spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a bit tanned. Inside boards/end-papers tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Neat gift inscription and data in pencil and previous owner's name and address in pen to front end-paper. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. Numerous ticks in pencil to other titles by this author to back page. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
