1st edition 2nd impression approx1.5 in or 35 mm thick across the back of the spine, Blue boards, missing colour frontis has been replaced with a colour photo copy. Top edge of the compressed page edges was once tinted blue but has faded considerably. Boards are grubby and the front board is heavily creased which has torn pastedown on the inside of the board. Spine is fraying to front leading edge, all corners bumped. Name in ink to front endpaper, library stamp to front endpaper, half-title, title and rear endpapers. Compressed page edges are dirty and there are dirty finger marks to a few pages. Quite hard to find in this early state. Seller Inventory # 040595
