Full title: A Biographical Sketch of the Right Rev. David Low, D.D., formerly Bishop of the United Dioceses of Ross, Moray, and Argyll. containing an outline of the Vicissitudes which have affected the Scottish Episcopal Church during the last hundred years, but portraying more particularly the prominent features of the Bishop's personal and official history. The book was criticised at the time for offering a rather populist view of the Bishop alongside the problems of the church over many years. This copy (the only one on line) just now is in original blindstamped publisher's cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Original yellow endpapers are clean and unmarked. but with some wear and fraying at the lower edge of the front board. There is scattered foxing of the prelims and a booksellers label (John C.Orr, Fife Record Office, Cupar) on the rear endpaper. The lilac boards are faded and the spine more so. Overall still a VG copy in original binding. See scans. Seller Inventory # 009866
