No title or contents pages 30 colour illustrations on stiffer card. We are not sure why there is no title or contents pages but assume that this collection of text and plates was issued as a magazine and then bound. Vol. I 480pp Vol. II 481-960pp. Approximately 11 inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, 5 raised gilt bands, decorative gilt compartments, the outer tips of the spine are also gilt. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition. Boards good condition half blue leather & blue cloth boards, decorative gilt lines, Vol. I has a white mark and two small black dots on the upper board and Vol. II has some white marks down the front joint on the upper board. Page edges good condition top edges gilt, fore and bottom edges lightly tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled, some foxing around the edges. Title good condition No Title Page.
