Two volumes, volume one "Field Guide", 378 pp, 180 colour plates, volume two "Attributes and Status", 683 pp, laminated boards (no dust wrapper was issued). Tiny mark to the closed fore edge of the first volume but otherwise a fine set. Includes an appreciation of eminent ornithologist S Dillon Ripley authority on Asian ornithology. The second edition was only published in paperback , this first printing was issued hard bound.
