This book is dedicated to a select group of designers and marketing people round the world who came up with vehicles so totally bizarre, ugly, or inappropriate—in some cases all at once—that they must be recorded for posterity. Some people have designed deliberately bizarre cars, but what distinguishes them from the vehicles in this book is that, amazingly, all these cars here were meant to be serious offerings to the motoring public. Keith Ray is a writer specializing in transportation and humor. Tim Brooke-Taylor is a script writer and comedian, best known as a member of the cast of The Goodies. He has written and performed many comedy sketches and is known as the co-writer for "The Four Yorkshiremen", which has been performed by Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson, and Alan Rickman, among others.
