Scribners first published the Wyeth illustrated edition in 1916. The 14 full-page, color plates in this edition are made from new transparencies of each of the fourteen (Wyeth paintings. Fine in an As New Dust Jacket. Appears Unread. The Text Block is clean, bright white, tight, straight and square with no markings of any kind other than very light foxing to the top-edge. The Binding is full brown cloth, color uniform throughout, with bright gilt title in a design to the front board, bright gilt title, etc., to the spine, unmarked pictorial endpapers, and all corners square and sharp. The pictorial Dust Jacket, with a Wyeth illustration, is flawless - bright, colors uniform throughout, and fully intact with the original prices ("$19.95 until 12/31/87 - $29.95") intact on the front flap.
