A very nice copy of this scarce First Edition! Bound in dark blue cloth, with very bright lettering to front board and spine, this hardcover (1900) First Edition is VG. Bevelled boards, tissue guard to frontis, and black endpapers. X11/414pp with 33 Illustrations by Kerr and Townsend. Forty-five chapters in three sections, namely; Black Heart & White Heart, Elissa, and The Wizard. Odd scattered foxing, but not of a serious nature, and no scribble or other faults.
