This volume was printed in MCMXXXVIII (1938) and was printed and bound in Ireland at the press of the publisher. The dust jacket for this volume is clipped at the bottom right of the front flap, has small tears, a bit of paper loss at the spine ends, tips and flap folds, but is basically complete. There is a one inch break at both the front and rear gutter/hinges, and a small bookstore stamp, Irish Book Shop-NYC, on the front free end paper, as well as, a previous owner's ink signature. All illustrations are included and tightly bound in to the text block. The 318 numbered pages does not include the illustration leafs. The text and black-and-white images are clean and bright and without marks, rips, tears or marginalia. The green boards show discoloration at the spine and edges, but the black lettering is bright and bold. The boards also show some edge wear and the spine ends and corners are bumped. The edges appear to be a bit toned. This book may require additional shipping charges.
