First edition stated thus (preceded by the Swedish hardcover release) first printing of a fine hardcover in a near fine dustjacket with minor wear to the extremities, and one small closed tear on the back cover. Set in pre-independence Tanganyika, the story of the violent death of white woman Evie Wilson, which triggers racial conflict.
