An interesting study of the historic buildings of Blackheath in Kent, including Morden College and Greenwich Palace, and the historical events of the Royal Hundred, with a foreword by J. E. G. de Montmorency. This is Part One, including Blackheath and Greenwich. Illustrated throughout by the author. An uncommon work in the very scarce glassine wrapper.Thirteen pages of advertisements. In the publisher's original paper wraps, with the original glassine wrapper. Externally generally smart, though with a little darkening to the extremities and one small closed tear each to the front and rear of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages. Glassine wrapper is chipped with losses to the spine and extremities, and an 11cm tear to the rear of the wrap.
