Please find a First Edition copy of "Blue Dog". I particularly liked the opening statement about Blue Dog (who entered the Artist's life as "Tiffany"), to wit: ".she filled my life with a rambunctious joy that made being sad around her almost impossible." I lost my dog of fifteen years last year and always felt that she made me happy when all else failed, every day. Blue Dog peeks out from a cardboard slipcase.
Condition: This book is in very good condition. That is because the slipcase, as is intended, has absorbed the wear and tear and left the book almost like new. There is some edge wear to the slipcase but none of it is serious (please see the photos). The hard covers are clean and unbumped with perhaps just a few scuff marks to the finish of the back cover. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean, bright and vividly colored throughout, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
