FIRST EDITION hardcover, quarter-bound in dark blue cloth with gray boards, is in G condition, having some sun-darkening to top front and back covers; spine shows some wear to top, and gilt lettering on spine is faded in places; slight shaking to volume noticed between frontispiece photo and title-page. Dust jacket, is in POOR shape, missing the spine part, and with missing pieces to top area of front and back with bottom right corner missing partly, with other small pieces missing to edges and much chipping--the remaining parts are enclosed in protective mylar (mylar not pictured). Book is illustrated with mainly b&w photographs of the Blue Mountain area of New South Wales, and the nearby Jenolan Caves, with some color.
