This is copy number 193 of a limited edition of 400 copies of the hitherto unpublished Arthur Ransome fairy story The Blue Treacle, printed by Amazon Publications for subscribers. These are listed. the decorations have been taken from the 1919 edition of Ransome's play in rhyme, Aladdin, which was written at about the same time as Blue Treacle. Looks unread to inside. The cover is navy blue with yellow title, author and illustration to front. Front cover with very faint two almost hairline lines to top right corner; tiny dent to bottom back. Broadleaf Books is a second hand independent bookshop in Abergavenny, South Wales. Enquiries and visits are very welcome. cb hle.
