This souvenir program from what appears to be a stand-up concert circa 1960 appears near sharp with a hint of wear at edges and extremities. A previous owner has made a few pencil notes on the front cover, and there is an incription, in ink, at the top part of the rear cover above an ad for the 1959 Buick. Front cover is a parody of a Life Magazine cover. Contents include an autobiography by Hope subtitled "The early life and times of a gentleman named Leslie Townes", My Friend, Bob Hope by Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Sportsman, Where There's Hope.there's life and glamour, and much more. Profusely illustrated with a plethora of photographs, and inside back cover is a full size promotional ad for his then current film Alias Jesse James. An uncommon item, to be sure! 20 black and white pages including covers which are 2 color.
