A rare grazer from the wild plains of underground 70s poetry. The Book of the Buffalo by Joe Ribar (Figtree Press, 1971) is a minimalist, small-press gem stamped first edition and still standing tall. Typographic cover? Mesmerizing. Inside? A lyrical exploration of identity, memory, and the American beast, told through clean, spare lines that echo the era s experimental poetics. Published in New York at the dawn of Figtree Press, this copy is clean, unmarked, and ready to roam free on your shelf. No library stamps, no weird smells. just pure poetic prairie. First Edition Published 1971, Figtree Press (New York) Manufactured at 35 Spring Street, NYC Scarce, none currently listed or sold.
