Many of the poems are about Black pride, white oppression, and the scourge of drug addiction. Scarce in commerce and held by only 5 institutions (according to OCLC): NYU, Yale, Chicago, Wake Forest, and Penn. PHYSICAL DETAILS: Octavo (8 1/2 x 5 3/8 inches; 215 x 136 mm), [32] pages, in side-stapled, illustrated wrappers (soft cover). CONDITION: A bit of foxing to top edge and light edge wear. Near Fine.
