A fabulous series of stories on fantastical creastures with illustrations by one of the masters. In blue cloth with black type. An ex-library copy with call number to bottom of spine, large paper scar to ffep from pocket removal, stamps, writing and a small stain to same. Rfep has small stamp and a few small marks/stains. Very small adhesive scars to pastedowns and stamp to title page. Some stray marks/stains to pages and page ends. Rubbing to board ends, spine ends and corners. Jacket is price-clipped with small adhesive stains to top and bottom of spine, otherwise, general edgewear. 2nd Printing.
