Ralstonism was a social movement in the late 19th century. Webster that began as the Ralston Health Club. The book contains over 2000 laws of life, many illustrations, a curious compendium of all sorts of information and advice. This bright clean copy contains as its last page the rare purple perforated Iron Gateway membership application (blank). 6-3/4 x 10, 304 pp, b/w illus, decorative endpapers. VeryGood unmarked with some small signs of wear but still bright, front hinge a little loose. Hardcover in pale green cloth boards with black & silver embossed decorations, no jacket. No edition stated, assumed 1st printing.
