About this Item

Alfred John Fairbank was a British expert in calligraphy and palaeography, as well as an author on the subject of handwriting. In 1921, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Society of Scribes and Illuminators, subsequently serving as its honourable secretary. Additionally, he contributed to the creation of the Society for Italic Handwriting in 1952. 64 pages, illustrated. Original printed boards, with dustwrapper.
