New York: Artists & Writers Guild, Distributed By Grosset & Dunlap, 1944. Illustrated in both color and black and white, the book tells the story within the opera and includes a few stanzas of music. Pictorial hardcover with matching dustjacket. The book has some light edgewear, sound binding, slightly age-toned but very clean pages, handwritten name at top of half-title, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [5050] and also has some minor edge chipping that does not affect lettering or design, very little paper loss. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
