Clean unmarked text block. Double sided illustrated title page. Further illustrations in the text as chapter headpieces by Terence Dalley. Attractive vintage artwork to jacket also by Dalley. Minor edge wear along the top edge and tail of spine. A little soiling to the rear panel. Condition is very good. The story of a boy's adventures in Germany visiting the place where his father was shot down in World War 2. He hides out in the same barn where his R.A.F. father once hid and is rescued by the same deranged old woman.
